Practice

Jennifer's primary areas of concentration are merger and acquisitions, business transactions, and bankruptcy. Jennifer is consistently involved in all phases of the merger and acquisition process, includng due diligence and disclosure schedule preparation in stock and asset transactions. She also assists attorneys with telecommunication needs ranging from technical understanding to retail and member contracts, to building and network access to fiber and IRU agreements. She is currently assisting a US Bankruptcy Trustee in the administration and winding down process of a telecom company. In addition, she is currently working with Bankruptcy attorneys on diverse projects such as the sale of an unusual and extensive collection of a debtor's sports and entertainment memorabilia and Adversary Proceedings.

Jennifer formerly managed the Legal/Regulatory Department of a facilities-based CLEC responsible for regulatory compliance and reporting at the Department of State, PSC, and FCC levels, public and private RFPs, PSC hearings for certification, CLEC / ILEC quality and service-standard proceedings, customer contracts ranging from retail services, IRUs and Franchise Agreements development of internal compliance policies and procedures.

Jennifer previously worked in the Estate Administration Department at an Albany Law Firm for two years prior to entering the telecom field.

Professional and Community Involvement

Jennifer routinely serves as a Volunteer Paralegal for the Pro Se Divorce Clinic run through the Legal Aid Society of Mid-New York, Inc.
