Practice AreasSidney has represented clients in federal and state courts and has handled administrative law proceedings before the New York State's Department of Environmental Conservation and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. His clients include chemical, oil and manufacturing industries, waste recovery companies, and emergency response agencies, as well as many townships and governments. He has acted as counsel to industries cited for violations of the Occupational Safety, Health Act and New York State Labor Laws.
In 2006, Sidney received the honorary title, "Empire State Counsel," from the New York State Bar Association for providing over 50 hours of free legal services to the poor. He was among the first lawyers to review and lecture on the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), and helped shape the New York State Environmental Section for both the New York State and Onondaga County Bar Associations. He has also served as a Federal Court Evaluator.
