Our Professional Practices Practice Group has over forty years of specialized experience with New York State's licensure and regulation of professionals. We have significant business expertise as well as in-depth knowledge of the relevant statutes, case law and applicable regulations that pertain to this area of practice.

We have represented architects, engineers, medical professionals, accountants, veterinarians, social workers and other licensed professionals with the formation of professional corporations, professional limited liability companies, partnerships and joint ventures. We assist clients in connection with the sale, acquisition and merger of professional practices, as well as the negotiation and preparation of shareholders agreements, employment agreements, operating agreements, partnership agreements and other related contract matters.

We advise professionals with all aspects of the daily business operations of their practice to include employment, real estate and tax matters. We also represent professionals with any licensure or professional discipline matters that may arise.

We maintain a long standing relationship with the independent firm of Green & Seifter, Certified Public Accountants, PLLC, and when appropriate, we also collaborate with our Health Care and Business Transactions Practice Groups. This team approach allows our attorneys to provide advice that covers all implications of a transaction to protect our clients' reputation.
