Our Mergers and Acquisitions Practice Group brings extensive experience and an interdisciplinary approach to this area of law. Our attorneys have handled all types of transactions, including stock and asset sales and purchases, business mergers and combinations, and business separations.

We assist clients with every aspect of a business acquisition and sale transaction. Our attorneys have extensive experience in business valuation, negotiation of purchase price, and the structuring of transactions for optimum tax and business results. Our long standing relationship with the independent firm of Grossman St. Amour Certified Public Accountants, PLLC, gives us a unique understanding of the financial as well as legal structure of transactions. Our team approach assures that all of the issues associated with the transaction will be addressed.

We handle the technical aspects of drafting legal documentation, assist our clients through financial and legal due diligence processes, coordinate with off-shore counsel if necessary, and address securities law concerns. To deal with the specific issues that inevitably arise during the course of the negotiation and closing of a business acquisition or sale transaction, we may also call upon the expertise of our Real Estate; Environmental, Land Use, and Zoning; Intellectual Property; Bankruptcy; and Employee Benefits Practice Groups.
