Bousquet Holstein Attorney Appointed to Board of Directors of CNY Collaborative Law Professionals

Syracuse, NY - February 6, 2012 - Bousquet Holstein, Attorneys PLLC is pleased to announce that Steven A. Paquette, Esq. has been elected for a two-year term to the Board of Directors of the Central New York Collaborative Family Law Professionals, which is the regional chapter of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

The Collaborative Law process is a voluntary alternative to the potentially destructive aspects of adversarial negotiation and divorce in the courtroom. Collaborative Practice is used by couples as they transition to living apart, while promoting mutual respect and maintaining the highest priority for the children. Couples agree to use good faith efforts in their negotiations to reach a mutually acceptable settlement and are represented by a lawyer whose representation terminates upon the undertaking of any contested court proceeding.

Steven is an experienced litigator who brings over 31 years of practical experience to seek fair and reasoned solutions to client problems. His current practice involves successfully navigating sophisticated divorce and family law matters to a successful conclusion and working with businesses to maximize their potential for success.

Steven is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law and Syracuse University S.I. Newhouse School. He lives with his family in the City of Syracuse.
