Green & Seifter Elects Paul M. Predmore to Board of Managers

Syracuse, NY - February 6, 2012 - Green & Seifter, Attorneys PLLC is pleased to announce that Paul M. Predmore, Esq. has been elected to the firm’s Board of Managers. He has been with the firm for 23 years and is the principal attorney overseeing all tax controversies at both the federal and state levels. Paul has extensive experience in dealing with the Internal Revenue Service and the New York State Department of Taxation & Finance on audit, administrative appeals, and litigation and collection issues. For almost 20 years, Paul has also been legal counsel to Housing Visions Unlimited, Inc., a not-for-profit corporation that has developed a number of affordable housing projects in Syracuse and throughout New York State.

Paul has assisted both individuals and businesses in successfully resolving complex federal and state tax matters in audits and appeals, and negotiating numerous offers in compromise resulting in significant savings. Paul also supports the Business Transactions Practice Group by assisting businesses (both for-profit and not-for-profit) with formation, operations, business transactions, and dissolution issues. He has published articles on tax issues and is a lecturer on tax and business topics.

Prior to joining Green & Seifter, Paul was a trial attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice, Tax Division (1984 -1989, Honors Program) where he represented the Internal Revenue Service in federal district and bankruptcy courts. He received “Outstanding Attorney” recognition from the Tax Division in 1987.

Paul is a graduate of Albany Law School and St. John Fisher College. He lives with his family in Fayetteville.
